Happy President's Day Monday!
I guess the busy-ness of life is catching up with everyone. This is the third Monday in a row I've had someone scheduled to appear here and they've not been able to do it after all.
So, I don't really have much to share.
As it's a day off from school, I will be helping my husband with his new music video.
In case you have the impression that I will be doing anything musical, I will not. My job is lunch. And holding stuff.
But I'll post you a link one of these days when it's finished.
So that's it! You are excused early :) Go have a lovely day off :)
See you Wednesday for Would You Read It!
"My job is lunch. And holding stuff." HAHA! It's very cool to have a musical husband, even if you don't sing backup. Would love to see the video (or any video) one day! Have a happy and relaxing day off. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have to go to school today because of all of our snow days. :( *cough cough coughity-cough* Oh no! It sounds like I have a contagious cold! AAAA-CHOOOOOOOOoooooo!!!!!!!! Better stay home...Have fun with your h-h-h-ah-CHOOOOOOO!!!!! husband and his video. Have a great day! AAAAA-CHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! (I hope Mom gets convinced to not send me to school. ;) )
ReplyDeleteIt's family day where I live, so my kids have it off. They've been off school since last Wednesday (prof days) and it's not even spring break yet!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy day of making lunch and holding things! :-)
ReplyDeleteNice try, Erik! :-)
ReplyDeleteI bet you are a masterful stuff-holder! :) have a fun time hanging out with hubby!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susanna! I have so much work to catch up on today! Enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see that video too! :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun! It's family day here anyway :)
ReplyDeleteHave a restful day, Susanna. I am like Erik, I have class!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day. Sometimes, a day off is good for the soul. I took the day off from my paying gig expecting my kiddo to be off from school. but her district decided to make it a snow-make-up day. So instead of entertaining her, I'm going to play catch up on some February goals I've been falling behind on. Woot! Let's go be productive, or pretend to be lol!
ReplyDeleteHave fun making lunch and holding stuff! I'm cleaning my printer and working on taxes (I know everyone will be jealous of the glamorous stuff happening here!)
ReplyDeleteSusanna...it's the perfect day to have a little break...what's for lunch?
ReplyDeleteOh, that is funny, Stacy...my plan for today is to try to find the boxes (still
ReplyDeletepacked in the basement) that contain our old tax returns and the
receipts from January to September...problem is there are still 200
boxes down there...I need one of those water locating sticks, but mine
will have to locate tax stuff.:)
Hey, I can make lunch and hold stuff, too! Perhaps there is a future for me in the music video industry!
ReplyDeleteI have been working like mad trying to get my homework done for this week. My teacher is calling me tonight and boy do I have the questions for her. anyone want to help? ask away! I'll forward them to her. and tell you the answers in my blog post.
ReplyDeleteLunch is the most important job. Do a good job with that and the whole day goes better....
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had Mom going pretty good, until she read that last line. (DAG-NAB-IT!) ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I need a day off.
ReplyDeleteI know. We're all about the glamor :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it! :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I believe you're right, Genevieve! Let's hope I get credit where credit is due :)
ReplyDeleteSee? A whole new world of possibility! :)
ReplyDeleteI think salad with grilled chicken... healthful and nourishing and hard to screw up too much :)
ReplyDeleteGo Angela! Lucky free day! I'm not getting a day off - just taking a day off from the internet/blog/writing so I can fetch and carry :)
ReplyDeleteI am not resting, Joanna - just not doing my own work :) Have fun at class - I hope you don't have a terrible cold like Erik :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely one :)
ReplyDeleteI am always playing catch up... it's how I roll :)
ReplyDeleteIt is really fun, Wendy! I love watching the concept unfold (whilst holding things :))
ReplyDeleteYou know, it's one of my greatest talents, Teresa, and I so appreciate you for recognizing that. I also have experience in having my sleeves used as kleenex :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Iza! It will be tons of fun, actually - I love watching them create the videos!
ReplyDeleteIt's like 2 spring breaks for the price of one! Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteSome day when you are old enough to watch movies with some questionable language, you'll have to watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off :)
ReplyDeletePerhaps I should make a video of me making lunch and holding stuff - I'm very talented :)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great day off! I did the same thing and just posted a day late. :) But holding stuff for a music video? Tres cool! :)
ReplyDeleteLights and plugs and dimmer switches and guitars - not all THAT cool :) But fun to be part of! Also not really a day off - but a day off normal work :)
ReplyDeleteI put it on my TBW list! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's SO good! Absolutely hysterical! But it's one of those frustrating movies where the actual content of the movie is completely PG, but the language is (I have to say as a mom) atrocious!
